Want to be a staff member?
There may be openings in many of our departments, and of course, these openings have to be filled. Do you think you have what it takes to fill these positions? If you do, please send a request, with a resume, to Mr. Dennis Kirpitchenko (listed above), and he will get back to you with the most up to date list of available staff positions. Please remember that Arabian takes its staff very seriously, and expects them to put in at least one to two hours a week for airline related duties. If you still think you are up for it, give Mr. Kirpitchenko a buzz!

On Professionalism.
By Mahmoud Fadli

Professionalism - it's something that I emphasize to the highest degree. The professionalism, or lack thereof, of any organization's management and general staff determines, in many cases, the success, or failure, of an organization. I expect the utmost professionalism from any member of the Arabian Airlines staff, pilots and executive management included. It's essential - it's one of the founding principles, and reputation-al foundations, of Arabian. When any staff member acts up in a way that is inappropriate, the repercussions, both to the Airline's reputation and their future at the airline, are grave. Immaturity is something that I will not tolerate to any degree - it's one of my biggest pet peeves, and I will not hesitate to fire someone because they are acting up. There are many ways to inquire and disagree with decisions made by the management that do not involve profanity and threats. Any organization founded with democratic principles in mind will have those who are happy, and those who aren't so pleased - but that's good. It promotes critiques that will always help the organization excel in the business world.

My upbringing had, and still has, me involved in politics, and anyone involved in politics knows all about criticism and it's benefits, and pit falls. I will always give advice and critiques to my staff in a respectful manner, and expect my colleagues to do the same for me. It's a learning process that is highly beneficial to all parties involved.

I guess it might be a turn-off to prospective employees - the high expectations I mean. But it's all because I believe in every member of my organization and their capabilities. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), this organization is filled with beautiful minds and countless talents and abilities that make this airline stand out. It's never a one man, or woman, show - there's so much that goes into an organization, and even this entry - so many people that go unacknowledged to the world, like our friends, and parents who constantly motivate us to continue doing what we're doing - the world around us, it's politics and economics that stimulate the minds that make this world turn and bring color into it.

With that said, I want to extend my appreciation, and thanks, to every single person that has made Arabian what it is today, and what it will be tomorrow. If I were to write a list of names of all the people that have helped me and Arabian, it wouldn't end for it grows every day.

Thus, a word of advice to all CEOs out there: appreciate your staff, listen to them, grow with them - they're like a family, and the more you appreciate them, the more they'll appreciate you, and your organization will function much more efficiently while never forgetting the human aspect that bring people together. After all, our slogan isn't Uniting People, Uniting Worlds, for nothing.
