 alMirath Aircraft Now In Fleet! March 10, 2010
Arabian Airlines and alMirath have finally completed their merger/buy-out agreement. As of March 10, 2010, alMirath and Arabian Airlines are officially one company. Arabian Airlines has painted selected A319, A320 and A321 aircraft in the Arabian Blue paint scheme in honor of alMirath. The Arabian Blue aircraft will all have the alMirath logo placed on aircraft. Moreover, all Embraer 170 aircraft will be in the Arabian Blue paint scheme, as well as the Boeing 737-700 aircraft which alMirath owned prior to merging with Arabian.
Pilots wishing to fly the Embraer 170 aircraft may do so under the following stipulation: All A319 flights within the Middle East, Egypt, Iran, Cyprus, and Turkey, may be flown with the Embraer 170. Please note that these flights are to be flown under the MRT and not ARB designation.
Pilots wishing to fly the Boeing 737 may do so under the following stipulation: The Boeing 737 may be flown on any A319, A320 and A321 flight scheduled at Arabian Airlines. Please note that these flights must be flown under the MRT and not ARB callsign.
 Boeing 777s Arrive March 10, 2010
Arabian Airlines has received the first batch of Boeing 777-200LRs and 777-300ERs to be put into operation on the company's route network. As of March 10, 2010, the aircraft have not been scheduled into Arabian's operations. However, pilots wishing to fly the 777s on Arabian Airlines routes may do so under the following stipulation: all A340 and B747 flights may be flown by the B777. Only CAT C and above pilots may fly the Boeing 777. |
